Driftwood 2018-2019 Driftwood shows the way. I made working compasses out of pieces of driftwood I found on various hikes. One of the compasses was part of the exhibition Een Gewone Wandeling, at GEM, the Hague. During the exhibition, one of the guards would now and again activate the compass with a magnet. After finding the North, the compass would freeze in its position again. Technique by Peter Moll
